Complete Sailor Moon 3″ Inch CD Singles

YAY! I finally finished collecting all the Sailor Moon 3″ inch CD singles. I don’t know why, but I have always thought the 3″ inch CDs to be really cute looking. Plus, there are images printed on many of them, that are exclusive to only the CD singles. I went ahead and scanned them all in. There are only thirty-three singles to collect, and they aren’t that expensive (similar to Sailor Moon trading card prices). Rakuten sell these for pretty cheap. So it was relatively easy to finish this collection, which is a nice feeling. Enjoy the scans everyone!

    Wonderful scans. I love it.

  2. Lisa says:

^__^ Awww…! Thank you Jaja! I’m glad you like the scans!

  3. Luke says:

Congrats on getting them all! :D Some of them are pretty hard to find (especially the PC Engine Single) but I’m sure I’ll manage. Best scans of these Singles on the internet! :D

  4. Lisa says:

=D Thanks Luke! You can do it! Just keep entering the Catalog No. into Rakuten. Decently priced ones should come up all the time! But then, you’re a pro at this already!

  5. Luke says:

That’s some really good advice! Thanks Lisa :3
I entered catalog numbers before, to collect Kotono Mitsuishi’s discography, but when it came to Sailormoon I just figured that if nothing new appears in the CD category after typing セーラームーン then there’s nothing new to get. Oh how wrong I was :)

  6. Lisa says:

O_O You know how the “Moonlight Destiny / Moon Revenge” Remake single was one of the rarest ones? I typed in the catalog number into Rakuten a month ago, and got it for 400 yen! I was so happy! Rakuten = super best!

  7. Luke says:

I know :3 I love Rakuten but I spend waaay too much money there :p There’s no point in ordering 1 or 2 items (heh… shipping fee) so I always end up buying too much. :| And don’t you just hate when something new appears right AFTER your Order Confirmation and it’s no longer there when you decide to place a new order? :d

I remember that Single on Rakuten :3 It didn’t have a picture but the Cat.No. confirmed what it is. I was thinking about buying it (since I still don’t have “Sailor Moon In Paris” CD that I love so much) but back then I wasn’t planning on collecting Singles so you were able to buy it :3

  8. Lisa says:

=) Yep. That single was on Rakuten for a while, I think. I remembered seeing it, and not buying it for a while, because I wanted to combine shipping with something else.

Also, within the span of 3 weeks, I saw three Sailor Galaxia singles go up for around 2000 yen to 2600 yen each. All sold out and got restocked fairly quickly. Its such a great place for finding these things.

  9. Lisa says:

BTW Luke. I forgot to ask you. Where do you store your Kotono CD collection? I know you must be ordering those 3″ inch cases now. Do you put them on a shelf somewhere?

  10. Luke says:

Well, I’ll be moving in a couple of weeks so for now I just keep all my CDs and Singles on two shelves – one for my Sailor Moon music and the other for everything else.
All singles are still in their sleeves. I’ll be getting those 3″ cases another time (I’m waiting for someone to sell at least 30 or 50 of them in one auction; all new).

In the future I want to diplay all my music collection on a wall. :D

  11. Lisa says:

O_O Wow, take pictures when you display on the wall, one day!

I was curious at how other collector’s display their CD collections. For me, the 3″ inch singles reminded me of trading cards. LOL So I put them in new plastic sleeves, and stored them in a container somewhere.

  12. Luke says:

Hi Lisa, hope you’re doing OK.:3 I came across two Yahoo auctions you may finds interesting.

    http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n124622834
    http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e136061896

  13. Lisa says:

Hi Luke! Thanks for passing along those links! Dangit. I missed the auction I needed. It was the 2nd link. GRRRR. I’ll have to keep watch on auctions more tightly. I’ve been so busy starting a new job lately. O_O I miss updating.

  14. Luke says:

We miss you too :3 Don’t worry about it – I’m sure it’s gonna pop up on Yahoo Auctions some other time.

I actually lost an amazing auction there (8 Sailor Moon SNES games + 9 other games – all brand new in boxes) by just 1000JPY, but that’s probably for the best. Yahoo Auctions is gonna bankrupt me. :0 I ordered 60 CD-Single cases there and since you have to pay all those fees I ordered some other stuff. Mainly CDs. Too much CDs… You think you’re saving on shipping but you end up buying waaaay more stuff than you should. And on top of that I’ve made a huge order on Rakuten + I pre-ordered the “Miracle Romance Shining Moon Powder” from Premium Bandai, so I really need to stop.
…Oh, and I bought 2 Sailor Moon PC Engine games and a Cardcaptor Sakura Artbook on eBay – SERIOUSLY I need an INTERVENTION :p
I’m not planning to buy anything next month thought. Collecting is really addicting. I’m buying too much and once the stuff arrives I’m not as excited as I used to be. I think that’s what happens when you start making money and you realize you can finally get all that stuff your parents wouldn’t buy. :D

Sorry for the rant :3 I hope your happy with your new job!

  15. Lisa says:

Oh Luke! That’s amazing! I thought only I feel that way. There’s so many Sailor Moon things coming out now. I just keep submitting my Bandai orders into my deputy service, and be thankful I have a job to help me pay for all this. But its still a lot of money! Both of us are addicted to buying this stuff!! >_<

I miss you guys a lot too! I hope to get settled into work soon, where I don’t feel so tired anymore. Then I’ll come back and start updating again. =) Thank you for understanding!

  16. Lilly says:

I love you so much right now for scanning them! After all those years in the fandom there are still such great things that I’ve never seen before (ok, I’ve kinda known these covers, but never from the inside and never in that quality…). You are great! And I just want to thank you for great work. ♡

I just went through your list of doushinjis. If you’re still collecting requests, these would be mine:

    - Small Soldier by Ikuko Itoh (*_* waaah my favourite animator!!)
    - Final Sailor by Kazuko Tadano
    - Saraba Sailor Moon by Shinya Hasagawa
    - Tsui Raku by Arina Tanemura
    - all works of Madoka Ohmori
    - all works of Tohru Mizushima

That’s probably way too much to ask for, but maybe I’m lucky and someone else requested something from my wishlist and is therefore worth to be scanned. ;-)

    Greetings from Germany!

  17. Lisa says:

Hey Lilly! ^_^ Greetings from California USA! Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I will definitely add your list to the “doujinshi-to-scan-in” list! Many of them are already on the list, so hopefully, I’ll have time to update with those soon!

LOL You have good taste. I like all the ones you’ve requested!
