My copy of Nakagawa Shoko’s latest album Shokotan☆Cover 3 finally came in the mail this morning! YAY!! I haven’t been this happy about a CD release since well… Ever! I am super excited. Its not just because the album contains two new Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon cover songs. Most of the songs from the CD include music from other anime that circulated during the 90′s. Around the same time when Sailor Moon was still broadcasting on television.
From titles like Dragonball Z, Magic Knight Rayearth, Slayers Next, Fushigi Yuugi, and even Yu Yu Hakusho…! (Didn’t Sailor Moon’s creator Takeuchi Naoko marry the creator of Yu Yu Hakusho…?) Shokotan☆Cover 3 has a LOT of music that I grew up listening to. Add in awesome tracks like Moonlight Densetsu and Sailor Star Song, this album is just filled with nostalgia.
I am happy to upload this album for everyone. But if you really like it, please consider buying it and adding the CD to your collection. Its WAY worth it, if you love anime theme songs.

Amazing! And she makes a Sailor V-like pose! XD I’m also glad that she still covers old anime songs after her recent singles & albums, which are more of the mainstream J-pop genre – the otaku girl is always an otaku girl. lol

@ Rika-chicchi – I hella “LOL’d” when I saw the Sailor V-like pose. Actually, if you look closely at the anime picture, the anime girl is holding a wand that’s super similar to Sailor Moon’s Spiral Heart Rod in Sailor Moon S. XD Shoko’s a pretty awesome Sailor Moon fan.
